A FATAL FALL.
As we feared, the elderly married lady named We>s-brook died ait the hospital Last night.- Her comditon was dangerous from the outset. She alighted from _ie electric _ar ait Kingsland on Wednesday nighit about 10 o'clock before it stopped, and she was tihrown heaviiily oh to her h-ad. She was conveyed some little trim* afterwards to the Auckland Hospital, and there .reacted as well as was possible in the cdreumstanees. Umfortonately, hear injuries were very bad, her skull heing scraously concluded. In spifce of Whiait 'Uie m-edical staff did to relieve the pressure on her brain and to revive her genarally, she rapidly sank, and died later on in the evening. Mirs Westbrook's a.ge is given as 47 years. Tlie inquest ihais been fixed by Mr Grosiham (Ooronor) for 10. o'clock ait the hospital to-morrow morning-
