PAEROA, Wedneaday
At the Warden's Court to-day, before Mr Bush, Warden, ■the following applications were granted: —
Edgar Douglas White, jr., residen--site at Mackaytown; Herbert Smith, three puriri trees at Komata: Alexander McGower, residence site, Karangahake; Rich and Brown, six months' protection for Spionkop and Tugela spee_"<l river claims; J. A. Gibbons, residence site at .Mackaytown; Kenneth Gibbons, residence site at Mackaytown; Henry W. Dawson and John Duksson, permission to work Incognita claim at Maratoto with two men for six months: J. M. Haslett, six months' protection for Maorilande'r claim, amplication forwarded to Minister; N.Z. Crown Mines Company, 12 months' protection Mammoth Extended, Hercules, Warrior, Great Britain, Kavciiswood Extended, and Victoria claims, subject to the condition that the Company carries on the prospecting tunnel to the satisfaction of the Inspector of Mines.
