UNION,
Mr C. E. MacCormick, secretary of the Auckland Rugby Union, has sent the following telegram to Mr V. Langsford, manager of the Auckland football team:—"ln fa,ee of newspaper reports ,the committee is , anxious that you should assure the Otago Union that we dordially cnfVbr.se the view that they r-annot be in any sense responsible for indiscreet remarks of players and others ■aofc entitleu to speak on their behalf."
