SYDNEY, this day.
The captain of the Carlton team, which is visiting Sydney to give an exposition of the Victorian game, in the course of an interview, said that while not admitting the superiority of Rugby over the Victorian game, the game he saw yesterday was One of the finest expositions of the Rugby game he ever saw. ■The passing rushes of the New Zealanders were flashes of brilliancy. Wallace's goal from half-way was a revelation. '•' .
Kiernan, R. McGregor, and Spencer have nearly recovered from their injuries.
