HAWTREY COMEDY COMPANY.
Last night's audience at His Majesty's Theatre was thoroughly inspiring from the point of view of the actor. "Little Lord Fauntleroy" made his last appearance, and completely fascinated his auditors. Quick to perceive the line humour, and ready with their sympathy when it was needed, the audience, though restrained, was remarkably demonstrative, and everyone in the cast came in for the most cordial rounds of applause as their opportunities were utilised. The splendid work of Mr William F. Hawtrey and his colleagues was thoroughly appreciated. To-night the company appear in another attractive piece, Messrs Elton and Petley's farcical comedy, "The Other Man's Business." Full of fun from start to "curtain,'' the audience will be thoroughly interested in the "other man's" affairs, and they are also bound to be pleased with Sidney Grundy's comedietta, "My Milliner's Bill," which precedes the main piece.
