The. Hon. E. Mitchelson (Mayor 'of Auckland}, who is also chairman of the lienuiera Road Board, accompanied-by; several Auckland members,', waited on Sir Joseph Ward this afternoon with a request that he would re-build ,■ the bridge over the railway in the Remiieraroad.

Mr Mitchelson stated that the. Tramway Company were about, to commence the work of laying" rails througli.Jhe Remuera district.
