CAMBRIDGE ROAD BOARD.

At a meeting on Saturday this Board further considered the question or reinstating the level crossing on the Tramway road between Hautapu and Feneourt stations, concerning which the Minister for Railways *Tote that he had the matter under consideration. Mr Allwill suggested the erection of a bridge near the butter factory, but the suggestion was not approved by the other members. The clerk was Instructed to take further steps to have the road from Feneourt to Hautapu opened. The Board decided to compel property-owners to cvi back trees overhanging the roads, and to enforce compliance with the Noxious Weeds Act A bank overdraft of £353 was reported.
