The firing of the first range of the Kolapore Cup has been completed, the Australian team occupying the first place, .met being one point above the Mother Country.

LONDON, July 21. In the Kolapore match the totals were as follows: — Australia, 771. Great Britain, 760. Canada, 753. Natal, 740. Channel Islands, 735. For the winners Brandley put up 102, and Carter and Ison 99 each. The corrected scores of the first stage showed the Mother Country In the lead with 268, and Australia and Canada tying with one point less. Carter and Howitt made the highest possibles. At the end of the second stage Australia was leading with 524, the Motherland having put up 521.
