THE MAIL CONTRACT.
MELBOURNE, July 20
Mr. Drake is drafting tenders for the carriage of Australian and English mails under white labour conditions. It is understood that tenders will be invited in Britain and Australia, by any route, or for any section of the route, with the proviso that white labour only be employed on the vessels.
