NELSON, ibis day
A large and representative meeting. promoted by the Inland Communication League, and the Fanners' Union, was held at Wakefield last evening. An earnest address advocating construction of a coach road to Hanmer Springs and completion of the Buller railway was carried. It was decided to co-operate with the Nelson meeting held previously, and a deputation representative of town and country interests was appointed to wait on the Government and point out tlie justice of the claims and the unfulfilled pledges of many years past.
