LONDON, June 29. : The Lord Mayor of London (Sir Marcus Samuel), in the course of a speech at Hackney, stated that though h was aware that it was useless to expect any action to be taken, he had presented to the Foreign Office the generous resolution of Australia relative to the Russian persecution of the Jews.
