Per Waikare, for Sydney: IS bars bullion (_10,150), 290 cases kauri gum, 1)9 bags ore, 84 bags slimes. 250 boxes butter, 10 sacks seed. 20T pieces timber, IS sacks hides, 31 cases mullet, 28 bales flax, ','Ai rams, 81 ewes, and sundries.
The s.s. Waikare sailed for Sydney last evening. The s.s. Mararoa sailed for rue South this afternoon. The s.s. Rose Casey was docked to-day for her annual Inspection. The s.s. Indralema sails for the South and London on Thursday morning. The s.s. Whnkatane i.i expected to sail for Southern ports, en route for London, on Friday. The s.s. Westralia is expected to arrive from Southern and Last Coast port, on Monday evening. The s.s. Kakanoa is timed t<> arrive here from FIJI, with the lirst shipment of sugar, before the lSth ult. The s.s. Huwea, with a cargo of grain aud produce, should arrive from the Llu_ via ports next Monday. The barque Quathlamba was berthed at the Quec!u-street wharf this morning, aud commenced discharging cargo. The s.s. WalDui is due ivt the Manukan on Saturday. This will be her last trip, as t_e -a.upuna is to resume her runnius next week, The s.s. Waikare will be overhauled at Uuuediu un July tuid her place iv the
' trade will bo taken up by the Talune. The Te Annu replaces the latter vessel in the East Const-trade. The s.s. Taicri arrived from Westport at. 1 o'clock this morning, aud licit lied at the Hobsou street Wharf. The Taicri left Westport on Friday last, and experienced strong head winds and squally weather throughout. The Taicri makes the return trip ou Thursday. "We understand," aays a Tauranga paper, "that >a requisition which has been in circulation for the past couple of days, addressed to the Northern Steamship Co., has been numerously sigmd. it is the outcome of i he long .lumbering dissatisfaction with itho service as lately carried out and expresses a wish lh_t the Mu'.i ai bo i"o. : pat(_.
