COURT OF APPEAL.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day, The Appeal Court opened this morning. All the judges are present, excepting Mr Justice Williams, who will not arrive for a day or two. There are ten cftaee on the list for hearing, and a number of others will probably be set down during the sitting, including the Newtown. and Bruce licensing appeals. LATER. Six additional cases were mentioned as being about to come on, either before the Court of Appeal or the full Bench of the Supreme Court, including the Newtown licensing cases, the Wanganui packet license case, and a motion for leave to appeal to the Privy Council in the Port Chalmers licensing case. The Court fixed cases for to-morrow and Wednesday, and various licensing casee are to folloff. These will commence on Thursday if possible. The Court was adjourned till to> morrow morning.
