THE LOCAL CHAMPIONSHIPS,

The Rugby FootbaJl Championships for the present season will be commenced at Alexandra Park to-morrow, when City will meet Newton, Parnell meet Ponsonby, and Suburbs meet North Shore in the senior grade. There will be no match at North Shore.

The Rugby Football Annual will be issued to-morrow, and may be obtained at the, "Star" Office and all booksellers and news agents.
