ALL SAINTS' ANGLICAN.
A good number of the members ®f All Saints' Anglican Church attended the annual meeting in the schoolroom last evening. Archdeacon Calder presided. The annual report stated that the general collections during the year amounted to £458 4/10; special collections, £110 2/7; seat rents, £20".; contributions to the new church fund, £238 18/7. A sum of £ 132 11/5 was realised* By a sale of work held by the Guild in November, and £10 by a smaller sale held at the quarterly social in December, and these amounts were used towards repairing and beautifying the church,, which cost a total of £165. The vestry regretted their inability to continue their contribution for the services of an assistant curate till the collections improved, and suggested" that the contribution to the Maori Mission should be increased to £25, equal to about 1/3 for each communicant.
Mr G. B. Osmond, the general secretary of the permanent church building fund, reported that this fund, instituted on January Ist, 1002, now amounted to £576 0/7.* The Sunday school report showed a roll number of 264 boys, 262 girls and 42 officers. The school had spent £96 9/10 during the year, and had a balance in hand of £21 8/. The various reports and balance-sheets were adopted, and the officers for the coining year were elected as follows: — Vicar's warden, Mr A. S. Eussell,' parishioners' warden, Mr A. Littler; treasurer, Mr H. Burton; vestrymen, Messrs C. M. Calder, H. Burton, G. B. Osmond, Dr. Bayntun, C. J. Parr, H. W. f ilson, C. Gregory, T. Culpan, E. White, Of. Carder; auditors, Messrs F. T. Stokes and J. A. McKenzie. Votes of thanks were passed during the meeting to the various church workers. I'
