WAIHI, this day.

At the monthly meeting of the Waihi Hospital Trustees, the Rev. Mr Olphert in the chair, leave of absence was granted to Mr T. Gllmour, who proposed to resign on the occasion of his leaving for t:ie Old Country. The hospital buildings were reported to be in an advanced state. It was decided to ask the Government for the £600 vote granted last session. Routine business in connection with the opening ceremony was transacted, and the secretary was instructed to lay the question of the Hospital Board before the Government.
