PARNELL FOOTBALL CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Parnell District Football Club was held on Thursday evening. Mr K. B. Lusk presided, and there was a fair attendance. The annual report complimented the first, second, and third (A) teams on their gameness in turning out Saturday after Saturday last season against odds, and the third (B) fifteen on their winning the second junior contest, with a record of eight wins out of nine matches. The finances of the club were In an improved position, the club's assets over liabilities amounting to £270. The club made a profit of £30 (luring last season, besides paying off £30 on their allotment. OflSeers for the ensuing year were elected as under: —President, Mr G. S. Kissling; hon. secretary, Mr H. G. Chevis (third year); hoa. treasurer. Mr A. Twjnarne; committee, Messrs R. Handcock, T. Saunders, and A. Taylor: auditors, Messrs Fraser and Buchanan: delegates, Messrs F. Murray, F. Jervis, P. R. Fraser; selection committee, Messrs R. Haudcock, A. Twiname, and A. Taylor. The delegates to the Union were instructed to support j the proposal to alter the by-laws of the; Union to enable club representation on the| Management Committee. The secretary i and treasurer (Messrs Chevis and Twiiiame) were accorded a hearty vote of thanks for their"services.
