CHILD'S DEATH FROM SHOCK.
HAWERA, this day.
A nine-year-old girl named Kerrisk, daughter of a farmer at Manutahi, died from shock at Patea Hospital, through being burnt somewhat about the body. The accident occurred when the girl was lighting the fire.
