WELLINGTON, this day.
Thos. Scott was fined 40/ to-day for a breach of tbe street loitering bye-law by frequenting Willis-street for purposes of betting and bookmaking. Notice of appeal was given. Judgment was reserved in a similar case against Elis George Gandin, pending result of the appeal in Scott's case.
