Maintenance, —Considerable time was occupied in hearing an application for a maintenance order against Charles 'William Ninkey, in respect of his wife and daughter. Mr Martin represented the complainant and Mr Brookfield the defendant. His Worship decided that complainant was entitled to an order. and as Mr Ninkey offered to pay 15/ per week, this was the amount fixed. Root. Prescott and William Prescott were ordered to pay 5/ each weekly towards the support of their sister. Martha Brooks. A charge of neglecting to maintain his wife, which was made against Samuel C. H. Buck, was adjourned until Saturday.
