MELBOURNE, March 7.
The "Victoria Racing Chib brought their autumn meeting to a conclusion at Flemington to-day. Beautiful weather was experienced, and there was a large attendance. In the decision of the All-Aged Stakes, which event was run at weight-for-age, over a mile, the Champion Stakes winner Wakefnl was made a hot favourite, odds of 5 to 2 being laid on her ability to win. The three-year-old C_a_tress, however, led throughout, and won her race easily from the favourite. Wakeful was withdrawn from the Loch Plate, for which race Great Scot was a strong favourite. The son of Lochiel amply justified the confidence by winning his race in tine style and In fast time. The following are the results of the racing:—

Won comfortably by a length and a balf. Time. 1.16. . The Flare Handicap of 400sov_ One mile and „ half. -Vanity Fair. 7.13, 1; Annotate, 0 0 2- Adjuster. 7.11, 3. Also started: Wairiri Flagship. Patronus. Fishery, Teiemachu's, Lome. Won by half a length. Time. 2,36.. The Autumn Steeplechase of 400sov_ About three miles.-I_lota, 12.2, 1: Loddon, 10.5. 2: Spieler. 9.0. 3. Also started: Freedom nnd Kalmate. Won easily by ten lengths. Time, 6.49.. The Loch Plate of SOOsovs. One mile ana three-quarters.—Great Scot. 1: Flagship, _; VTctorv 3, Won easily. Time, 3.4.}.
