SYDNEY, this day,
A serious outbreak of typhoid has occurred at Comnanble. There are 25 eases in hospital and others are awaiting admission. The authorities are investigating the cause of the outbreak. The Government have accepted a local tender for the supply of half a million railway sleepers. The "Premier and Mrs See pay a holiday visit to New Zealand in the first week of March.
Efforts to raise funds to send a team to.Bisley to compete for the Kolapore Cup meeting have met with a poor response.

Mr John Holmes has returned from England. Interviewed, he strongly urged the necessity of the Federal States appointing Trade Commissioners to depelop their export trade.
