;--" WELLINGTON, this day. Wind: Moderate to strong from the eastward at all places north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan: moderate to strong from the northward after 12 to 20 hours elsewhere. Barometer: Fall at all places north of Thames and Manukau; rise, but fail after ten hours, thence to Ilokilika and Blenheim; fall soon thence southward. Sea: Increase on eastern coast northward of Thames and on the western coast generally; moderate elsewhere. Tides: Good on a!) eastern coast of North Island: moderate at other parts. Synopsis of the last 24 hours: Rising barometer everywhere, with flue weather lind moderate wind, principally from tbe eastward. Low pressure from the west will pass eastward of tbe meridian of South Cape on the 13th inst. Pressure is also low N.N.E. of Norfolk Island.
