AKARANA RIFLE CLUB.
The "A" class shots of the Akarana Rifle Club held their second competition for Mr McCallum's cup, and the "B" class the second competition for Mr Evans trophy, at Avondale, on Saturday afternoon. The conditions in both classes were 10 shots and one sighter at 500 yards and 700 yards. The "A" class trophy was won by Mr E. Pollard, and the "B" class trophy by Mr R. Aylett. The following are the scores:— "A" Class: Mr E. Pollard, 79; Mr Carlsen, 78; Mr W. Cox, 78; Mr W. Greenshields,. 73; Mr A. Henderson, 73; Mr M. Tobin, 72; Mr J. McCarthy, 72; Mr G. Spinley, 71; Mr L. Skinner, 70; Mr W. Phillips, 67; Mr J. J. Buchanan, 67; Mr J. H. Langley, 66; Mr W. H. Shepherd, 61; Mr PI. Doughty, 60. >.- "B" Class: Mr R. Aylett, 77; Mr Letham, 72; Mr J. F. Atkinson, 72; Mr A.
