LORD HAWKE'S TEAM

Lord Hawke's cricket team will arrive in Auckland on December 15. The present arrangement for matches is as follows: —Auckland, December 19, 20 and 22; .South ■ Taranaki,- at Hawera, December 30 and 31; North Taranaki, at New Plymouth, January 1 and 2; Wangamii, January 3, 5 and C; Manawatu, at Palmerston North, January 7 and 8; Hawke's Bay, at Napier, January 10, 12 and. 13; Wairarapa, at Grey town North, January 15 and 1G; Wellington, January 17, 19 and 20;. Marlborqugh, at Blenheim, January 23 and 21; Nelson, January 27 and 28; West Coast, at Greymouth, January 30 and 31 and February 2; Canterbury, at Christchurch, February 6, 7 and 9; Otago, at Dunedin, February 13, 14 and 16; South Otago, at Balclutha, February IS and 19; Southland, at Invercargill,. February 21 and 23; South Canterbury, at Timaru, March 4 and 5. Every opportunity possible will be given the team of seeing , the beauty spots of the colony. Rotorua arid the Southern Lakes will be among the places visited. The team will travel from Greymonth to Christchurch by the West Coast-road, and while in South Canterbury will have an opportunity of testing the trout streams. The date of departure is not definitely fixed, but the team will have to be in Sydney by March 18.
