SALE OF TROTTING STOCK.

CHRISTCHURCH, Monday
The sale of the late Mr H. Mace's trottins. stud attracted a large attendance, buyers being present from all pans of the colony, besides three from Australia. Almont was bought for 640 guineas by Mr Barber, of Melbourne, and his two-year-old brother for 400 guineas by Mr Tye, of Melbourne. Mr Barber also secured the dam of Almont f<* 90 guineas. Forty-seven horses realised £2440 W.
