PAEROA, this day.

Mr Jackson Palmer returned after addressing meetings at Neavesville, Broken Hills, Tairua, and other places, where he carried unanimous votes of confidence. He has been nominated by Mr William Birch, mine manager for the Waitekauri Company, and Mr James Mills, Mayor of Paeroa.

Mr. H. Poland addressed the electors of Wairongomai on Thursday evening, and had a good attendance. Mr. Holt occupied the chair, and the meeting concluded with a hearty vote of thanks.

Mr Jackson Palmer addressed the electors of Komata, Waihou and Wai/rongomai last Thursday, Friday and Saturday, receiving votes of conjfidencje at each place.
