PROGS' SKINS FOR BOOKBINDING.
In the Philadelphia Terminal Market recently, according to the "Philadelphia Record*" a dealer in all kinds of game said that the skins of frogs, if carefully removed and cured, have some slight value. They are used in bookbinding; not in general bookbinding, but in the fantastic, "precious" sort, as chicken skin was used in fan making in the time of Carlo Van Loo. Progs' skin makes a very fine and soft leather, and In dyeing1 it will take the most, delicate colours.
