In connection with the new One-nunga-Auckland railway time-table, a deal of dissatisfaction has been expressed by the residents of the western suburb. Hitherto trains left Onehunga-for Auckland at 8.15, 9.45, and 11.5, besides a special train to connect with the arrival of Southern steamers arriving in port. Under the new time-table there-will not be a train between 8.15 and 10.15, which it is Considered to be serious to the travelling public of Onehunga, not taking into consideration visitors from the South who will be arriving fby the daily service which comes into, force very shortly. In order to ibring the importance of having an intermediate train before the railway authorities a petition has been in circulation for signalmen in Onehunga, and the matter will also be brought before to-night's meeting of the Oneiunga Borough Council.—(Onehunga correspondent.) v. ■ ~ ...
