BRISBANE, this day,
Mr. David Elder, who was.a passenger by the R.M.s. Aorangi from Vancouver, states that the opinion amongst London financiers is that the conversion of State iloans on the security of the Commonwealth will have the effect of making it difficult to place any State loans at a satisfactory price.
