"OUR BOYS."
This favourite comedy, by 8.-Byfon. will be staged at the Opera House by the x^tom Club on Tuesday arid Wednesday. Many of the Auckland playgoers are unaware that of the cast of the oerformers no less than eight are members Of the Auckland Dramatic Society, who have booked to give "The Gov'nor" in December next. Mr Hay garth plays "the Butterman," and is expected to make mucli of the part. "Sir Geoffrey Champneys" will, be impersonated/by Mr. Gresham. who has appeared very successfully- 39 "the Major-General" In "The Pirates, of Penzance" and "Sir Joseph Porter 11 in "Pinafore," ;-. Mr Keenan, who takes "Charley Middleman," is no novice on the stage, and Mr H. Herbert has also acted' in company with professionals. Miss Franves Prazer ("Violet") and M'ss Maude Peacocke ("Mary Melrose") have also had previous experience in dramatic productions. "Aunt Clarissa," the Baronet's maiden sister, will be impersonated by Miss Doris Boult, whose artistic violin playing- has often been listened to with keen appreciation. Miss May Henderson as "Belinda," the poor lodglntr-hous* slavey, is described as exceptionally go?*" The two performances now announced are for the benefit of the Atom Club, bu| it is hoped later on to give a repeat "«■> '"-rm'nce in aid of the Maori Glrtr School.
