BERESFORD-STREET ANNIVERSARY.
. The jubilee anniversary of the Sun-day-school in connection with the Beresford - street Congregational Church was celebrated yesterday by special services. The interior of the church building was tastefully decorated with flowers and foliage in honour of the occasion, and suitable hymns were sung by the children and choir conducted by Mr. "R. Tudehope. At the morning service the Rev. \V. Ready preached, and. iti the afternoon an address was given by the Rev. W. Day. At night the church was so crowded that seats had to be placed in the aisles, when the Rev. John WilkiDs preached. The customary soiree takes place next Wednesday night.
