Sir, —In view of the severe apidemic of measles prevailing in tlie district 1 think it high time that steps were taken to prevent the spread of the. same, and principally by closing1 the s-hool for a time, the attendance of the children from infected houses be-, in.? a fertile source of infection, to mf i uersonal knowledge.—l am, etc.,
