Whereas the Land mentioned in the tchedule hereto is required to be taken, vader "The Public Works Act, 1804," for i certain public: work, to wit, the construction of a road through Section No. •7. Parish of Tltirangi. to the Auckland Land District: And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the laud as required by the said Act. Now, therefore, I, Uchter John Mark, Earl of Ranfurly, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, to exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by "The Public Works Act 189-1," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the publication 'hereof in the "New Zealand Gazette," the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of the said road.
