THE ARDENCRAIG.
The iron ship Ardencraig, which was dismasted in a gale in July last whilst on a voyage from New Caledonia to Rotterdam with a cargo of nickel ore. and subsequently put into Auckland for repairs, has since been re-rigged, and this morning went to an anchorage in the stream. It is understood that the work has been carried out to contract time, and that the whole of the new sail area is equivalent to five or six thousand feet. The contractor was Mr G. T. Niccol, and the cost of the work has been estimated at about £5000. The Ardencraig sails for Rotterdam next week.
