LATE TELEGRAMS.
SEQUEL TO BEEACH OP PROMISE

WELLINGTON, this day, ' ii sequel to the breach of promise ease Richards v. Birch took the form of bankruptcy proceedings to-day. The only creditor was Miss Richards whose claim consisted of the amount of judgment in her favour, £100 and costs, for breach of promise. Birch, who became bankrupt after the judgment of the Court, was subjected to a severe cross-examination on behalf of Miss Richards.
