THE LIBERAL AND LABOUR FEDERATION AND KINDRED ASSOCIATIONS.
(To the Editor.)
Sir,— Following in the lead of the member for Eden creating a "Donnybrook" in the House among the Auckland members, I notice by your report that the Liberal and Labour Federation have been trying to belittle the Auckland Liberal Association, which was in existence many years before the Liberal-and Labour Federation, and will be likely to exist after it; for the word "labour" has been already dropped from, the federation, consequently "labour" prefers to run its candidates through an organisation of its own. It cannot be gainsaid that there are a large number 'of unorganised labourers and workers generally in the city of Auckland who at the elections will follow the lead of the old Liberal Association ticket. It would have been better if the advice of the organiser of the federation from Welliugton had been carried out.-I am, , Lll>l_iivAL. etc.,
