ARAWA CRICKET CLUB CONCERT.
On. Thursday evening last, the members of the Arawa CC, assisted by several friends, gave a very enjoyable concert at St. Sepulchre's Hall, in aid of their funds, which we understand will benefit considerably. The programme included items by Miss Jessie 'Haresnape, Mr Endean, Miss Barker, Master D. Haresnape, Misses L Pollard and C. Jones, Miss Elsie Stewart, Mr P. White, Mr J. Baker. Professor Brown (club swinging), Mr A. Dennes (gramaphone selections), Mr Copleston, and Master L. Lord. The entertainment concluded with the farce, "Waiting for the Train," the characters being well sustained hy Masters D. Haresnape, N. Pollard, P. McEwan, G. Flnlay, A. Haresnape and M. Stewart Miss Jessie Haresnape made a very efficient accompanist, and with Mr A. J. Bennett supplied the music for the club swinging. The arrangements were well carried out by Masters N.
