"WELLINGTON, this day. A return -of ' produce exported from New Zealand last month shows tile quantities and values to 'have been as follow: Quantity. Valve. Butter .......... 9,431 cwt £64,175 :■ Cheese 3,048 „ 7,110 Beef .....62,686 „ 50,995 • Mutton 128,505 „ 141,166 Lege mutton.... 12.365 „ 15,055 Lambs 73,258 „ 115,702 During the three months ending June 30, 43,465cwt of butter, valued at £212,140, was exported, as compared with 33,685cwt, of the value of £151,610, in the corresponding quarter of last year. Cheese exported weighed 23,424cwt, of the value of £50,727, against 29,920cwt. valued at £68,472. In April, May and June of last year. Frozen beef exports totalled 106,307cwt, valued at £128,860, compared ■ with 58,075 cwt, of the value of £69,037, in the corresponding quarter of 1901. There was a Very large increase ip the export of mutton, namely, 36,858cwt, valued at £42,751, as compared with 12.927 cwt, valued at £14,177, exported in the same quarter of last year. • Lamb exports tot ailed 271,811cwt, valued at £418,408, compared with 241,012 cw *» valued at £374,840, in the corresponding quarter of last year
