PING-PONG.
The Grafton and Remuera Clubs met in the first round of the inter-club championship last Friday evening at the Remuera Hall, and after some very ev>n games Grafton won by 5 to 3. The results were:—Miss R. Brabant (G) beat Miss Milly Hesketh (R), 50—26; Miss Muriel Hesketh (R) beat Miss C. Sloman (G), 50—45; Miss M. Reid (R) beat Miss Moiriel Dawson (G), 50—43; Miss M. Sloman (G) beat Miss Shera (R), 50—48; Mr P. A. Dawson (G) beat Mr T. Southall (R), 50-25; Mr H. D. Hill (G), beat Mr Tonks (R), 50—28; Mr N. G. Donald (G) beat Mr Callender (R), 50—36; Mr T. Buddie (R) beat Mr A. Brabant (G), 50— 48.
