NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Mr John Elliott, of Mahoenui, is definitely announced as a candidate for IKgmont. The Native Minister visited Waitara yesterday and discussed the boundaries of fhe Egmont electorate with the Chairman of the Town Board. Mr Carroll acquiesced in the suggestion that a portion of the Kawhia County now in the Waika-to should be included in Egmont, and a portion of Stratford County cut off.
