LONDON, July 13. The London Lancastrians banqueted Mr Setldon at the Hotel Cecil. Earl .Derby was in the chair. , Air Seddon said the proposal that the \ colonies should definitely contribute an imperial levy was a great error. It Would be sufficient if help were given in case of emergency. In the Empire's extremity the colonies would not consider the cost.
