Many will learn with regret that Mr Robert Alfred Burgess died at his residence, Murdoch Road, yesterday. 'The deceased gentleman was weli known and highly respected. He Tiad been a very efficient secretary to the Auckland Builders' Association for two years past. As a building surveyor bis services were highly appreciated, and as draughtsman he had for some time prior to his death been engaged in the Harbour Board Engineer's office. Mr Burgess was attended by Dr. Williams for cancer in the throat, and it was from this disease that he died yesterday after several weeks of patient suffering.
