SYDNEY, May 16 Another plagne patient is dead.

BRISBANE, this day, A fatal ease of plague is reported.

CHRISTCHURCH, Friday.
Dr. Mason has been in Lyttelton all day in connection with the supposed case of plague. He does not anticipate fatal results, but steps will be taken to-morrow to have the case properly isolated. Dr. Mason is quite satisfied with all that is being done by the municipal authorities in Lyttelton. To-morrow he 'will' confer with the Mayor of Christehurch as regards the site for the infectious diseases hospital for Chrlstehnreh district. He has selected a site, but has not divulged the locality. Shields, the plague patient at Bromley, is'still improving. ,v
