Regarding the report that a hundred men of the Sixth New Zealand Contingent were captured and. stripped by the Boers in South Africa, I we interviewed Colonel Banks and other officers who have returned here. They state that the report ori--8»a-ted in an Adelaide paper, but Is »revival of an old rumour. The acwal number captured and stripped *as only ten. The affair happened B°me months ago.
