At the wool sales prices were very firm and competition was keen and general The. Kaputone clip sold at 10Jd; Gore at 64d. The fourth series open on July Bth, and are. limited to 300,000 bales. The s.s. Waikato's shipment of New Zealand frozen apples was a failure. They were of poor quality and unsuited to the London market. Copper: Spot and three months, £54 7/6.
Lead, £111 1/3. Wheat: The American visible supply is estimated at 40,476,000 bushels. Three Australian cargoes sold at 30/, another at 30/ li, and another at 29/10 J.
