His Exceiiency the Governor, accompanied by Captain H. Boscawen, A.D.C., paid a visit to the Chelsea Sugar Works this morning-, being shown over the works by Mr W. J. W. Phi.son, local manager. The refining process was fully shown and explained to His Excellency, who expressed great interest in all that he saw, and was very well pleased with his visit. To-night the Vice-Regal party attend the opening of the Cinquevalli season at the Opera House. To-morrow afternoon Lady Ramfurly attends the bazaar and sale of work at the r.M.C.A. in aid of the IJarnado Homes, and on Saturday Their Excellencies will lunch at Howick, the veterans of the township being in attendance. Lady Ramfurly attends the Trebelli concert ion Honday evening next, and will give an "At Home" on Wednesday. Miss Amy Castles took tea with Lady Rarifurly at Government House yesterday afternoon.
