INDIANS IN AUSTRALIA.
SYDNEY, May 14
East Indian residents in Albury have drawn up a petition for presentation to the Governor-General for the signature of Indians throughout the Commonwealth, setting forth the claims they have to a representative in the Federal Parliament. They propose to levy half-a-crown a-head to pay the salary of their member.
