MURDEROUS BLACKS.

MASSACRE OF A MALAY CREW.

(Received 9.37 a.m.)

PORT DARWIN, this day.

A Malay proa, containing ten men, was wrecked recently at Cape Wilberforce, North Australia.

The natives murdered all the crew excepting one, who, though wounded, escaped into the bush.

He wandered about the shore for a fortnight, existing on shellfish, and was eventually rescued.
