Mr George Loram, who is well known as a former hotelkeeper on the goldfields and elsewhere, has entered into partnership with Mr Charles Fagan, who is about equally well known as being connected "for 15 years with
the firm of Messrs Martin and Co
The new partnership has been formed for the purpose of entering into busi-
ness as livery and %>ait stable proprietors. Messrs Loram and Fagan have taken over Andrew and Sons' large stables in Chancery-street, and also purchased that firm's cabs, harness, buggies, and waggonettes. The local agents for the Oceanic Steamship Company (Messrs Henderson and Macfarlane) inform us that passengers can leave Auckland on Saturday in the Sierra, visit Ireland, Scotland and England, attend the Coronation ceremonies in London and return to the colony via America eighty-seven days. Intending risitors to England during Coronation week are reminded that in order to oe in London in time to witness this important Imperial event they must «»ve the colony at no later 'a date wan Saturday. _ Captain Edwin supplied the follow- ">? leather forecast for 24 hours 9 a.m. to-day:—"Moderate to strong winds from between southwest and west and north-west; blass Ja|l again after sixteen hours from j>°*> and strong wind to gale from Wween north-east' and north and west,'

A ceremony of especial interest to old residents in Ponsonby takes place to-morrow at All Saints' Churchy A memorial window is to be unveiled which, has been erected out of respect to tie first incumbent of All Saints', the late Ber. E. N. Bree. The pictures represent figures of the first Bishop Selwyn and his co-adjutor Archdeacon, afterwards Bishop, Abraham, also the Hon. Mr Swainson. The picture is historical in character, being illustrative of the declaration of the constitution of the Church of the Province of New Zealand at the door of St. Stephen's Church, Parnell. Underneath is a memorial tablet to the Rev. E. N. Bree. The unveiling- of the vrindow will be done by the Yen. Archdeacon Calder, and a service suited to the occasion has been arranged.
